I hope that you will find it helpful as you learn more about who we are as a congregation and how you can join us in fulfilling our purpose as a church, namely “Knowing Christ and Making Him Known.” Shortly before going to the Cross to die for our sins, Jesus prayed these words to His Father: “And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (John 17:3). In these words, Jesus reveals that eternal life is not found in merely knowing about God – as important as that is, but rather in having a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Thus, at Newberry ARP Church our focus is leading people to and nurturing people in a vibrant life-transforming relationship with the risen Christ.
