The Reverend Mantle Aaron Nance grew up in Elkin, NC, where he was reared in the Elkin Presbyterian Church. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Furman University in Greenville, SC, and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. While in seminary, Reverend Nance served as the Pastoral Assistant at Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. He also served as the Teaching Assistant to Dr. John W.P. Oliver, the Chair of Homiletics and Practical Theology at RTS-Charlotte.

Reverend Nance is currently working on a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland, through the Highland Theological College in Dingwall, Scotland. He is married to Sally, whom he met at Furman, and they have two sons, Jackson and Aaron.

Reverend Nance has a servant-leadership approach to ministry, with an emphasis on Preaching the whole counsel of God, Praying down heaven, and Pursuing genuine relationships in order to help others know Christ and make Him known. His key verse for life and ministry is Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

Pastor Nance and his wife
